The second meeting of the heads of the international centers for Persian language teaching, of universities and the country's scientific centers, was held on August 05, 2018 from 09:00 to 18:00 at Dehkhoda Lexicon Institute and the International Center for Persian Studies of the University of Tehran .
At the opening ceremony of the meeting, Dr Darzi, the head of the Dehkhoda Lexicon Institute, as the first International Center for Persian Studies, welcomed the guests and emphasized the need for a unique standardization of Persian language teaching and criticized dual policies in this regard .
In order to understand Persian language from a non-Persian speaker's point of view, Ms. Toyama from Osaka University, Japan, a Dehkhoda language learner, spoke about her experiences, goals and motivations for learning Persian .
Dr. Alizadeh, Director General of Non-Iranian Students Affairs of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, was the next speaker of this program, and divided standardization into three parts of content, method of teaching and assessment as the organization's programs, and called SAMFA test as a successful example in this regard .

Dr. Hossein Salar Amoli, Deputy Minister for Science, Research and Technology in the International Affairs, emphasized that the role of centers is not purely educational and that Persian should be used as a language of friendship and in peace theory . After the opening ceremony, professional sessions started.

In the first meeting, a report was presented by the professional workshops held by the Scientific Council and then the heads of the Persian language teaching centers of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, University of Tehran, Imam Khomeini University of Qazvin, Shiraz University, Ahvaz University, Shahid Beheshti University, Isfahan University, Mazandaran University, Alzahra University, Hamedan University, Kurdistan University, Payam Noor University and Persian Language College of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education expressed their views on developing strategies for the centers activities.
In the second meeting, the chairman of the scientific workshop introduced and analyzed the Standard Examination of Persian Skills Assessment (SAMFA), with the presentation of a report on the first and second tests carried out previously, and gave information about the future SAMFA tests.
The third meeting was held with the subject of Persian language teaching to non-Persian speakers' course books, with the presence of the authors of these books. The meeting ended at 18:00 with a visit to the Dehkhoda Lexicon bookstore .
