Belgrade University Delegation Visits Dehkhoda Institute and ICPS

A high-ranking delegation from Belgrade University visited the Dehkhoda Institute and the International Center for Persian Studies on Apr 22, 2017. The Delegation, including Dr Liliana Markovich, Head of Philology Faculty of Belgrade University, five professors, the Science Minister Advisor and Mr Rakhshandeh, Head of the Center for Scientific and academic cooperation of the Islamic Culture and Communication Institute visited Dr Ali Darzi, the Head of Dehkhoda Institute and the International Center for Persian Studies of University of Tehran, and Dr Seyed Mohammad Alavi, the Educational Deputy of the institute. While mentioning the 290- year history of Belgrade University, Dr Belgrade referred to teaching 34 foreign languages including Persian language (Farsi). She mentioned the present number of Persian Language learners of the university as 150 and wished for signing a memorandum of understanding with the Dehkhoda Institute to cooperate for creating a Persian Language and Literature Chair in the university. In the end, the delegation visited two classrooms as well as Dehkhoda Ganjineh (Museum).
